Choosing Keywords
You first must choose your keywords. This is perhaps the most important step of the process as incorrectly targeting phrases can result in traffic that is not interested in your product. There are many tools that can be use virtually every day to help you pick the most appropriate keywords:

The last in the list is the most important. Look through the potential keyword phrases and think, "Who would be searching using that phrase?" If the answer is, "a student looking for information" then chances are it won't result in a sale. If the answer is "Someone who is looking specifically for a product that you offer," then obviously this is a prime candidate as a targeted keyword phrase.

It is not good practice to simply copy and paste a list of key words. It would even be concievable that you would be charged with copyright infringement for such activities. Whether or not you get charged, it is morally wrong. Looking through and coming across a few extra relevant keywords is one thing. Steeling an entire list is something else completely.

Another approach is to type in the keywords you have in mind and look at the current top results. Analyze their pages for keywords, descriptions and content - this will give you some idea of what kind of keyword density you should be looking at for your keywords. If the sites that come up are a different kind of business to you altogethers then you’ve probably chosen a dodgy keyword - remember that you're trying to get relevant traffic, not just any traffic.

The general rules that you need to keep in mind when selecting key words are:

1. Try to select unique key words that your competitors have not thought of.

2. Optimize for your most profitable key words. How many sales does the key word generate? How much profit is made for each of these sales?

3. Make sure that the key words are very relevant to your site so that people who find your site through your key words will not immediately leave.

4. Try to assemble a list of key words that covers your site very will so that you aren't leaving anyone or anything out."

Example :
The title above was found when I tried to get what are the right keyword for "HTML" when I use nichebotclassic. My interest about this keyword/phrase are:
1) Exact keyword phrase people are using to search the search engines.
2) Number of times search phrase appeared in the database of Keyword Discovery in the past 12 months is 55,804.
3) Number of competitors that have specifically optimized their web pages for this keyword in their title tags, etc., all from the data requested by your Google API Key. This competition data gives you a more specific understanding about your TRUE competition for a keyword is 135 only.
4) The RATIO is another way of looking at a grading scale of seeking out low competition keywords you can most likely rank for. This number is calculated by the ratio of comparing every one search to all competing websites (competition results). Exactly opposite to KEI, the closer this figure is to 0, the less competition and easier it is to secure a top 10 position. The higher, the harder it is to compete. = 0
5) KEI means, in essence, Keyword Effectiveness Index. It is a calculation thought up by Sumantra Roy as a measure of the effectiveness of a keyword in terms of search frequency and competition for the keyword. The higher the number, the more likely you can place for a top 10 position. The lower the number, the harder it will be to rank high at first. = 87.49
